Good carbs” are those that contain the B vitamins, iron, calcium, and fiber your body needs to keep your cells functioning properly (especially vitamin B12, which helps your nervous system function and your red blood cells function at their best). It also benefits the central nervous system, which fuels our muscles. This healthy carbohydrate food is digested more slowly and converted to glucose more slowly, keeping insulin levels from fluctuating dramatically and keeping the body in a relatively stable energy state. These high-quality carbohydrates have the advantages of protective compounds and stabilizing sugar levels, which are beneficial to our health.

The brain consumes nearly 60% of the body’s blood sugar, and good carbohydrates support brain function, affecting our mood and memory. Not only does it boost your cognitive abilities, it also provides the blood sugar your brain needs to function properly.
